JHK's individual programme is a five stage process designed to:

  • Understand your personal and professional needs and goals
  • Assess your current level of mental toughness using MTQ48
  • Provide feedback and interpretation of the MTQ48 questionnaire

  • Create an individual development plan for your personal development
  • Coach you to enhance mental toughness
  • Provide a personalised distance travelled' report to track your development

The five stage process

Stage 5

Distance travelled report 

A personalised and confidential report is prepared for you detailing the 'distance travelled' along your personal development plan.

Depending on your availability, each individual programme typically spans three months from the initial briefing to the production of the distance travelled report.


Key tasks 

  • A report detailing how much progress has been made on personal development plans through adopting mental toughness

Stage 4

Individual coaching sessions 

Judith will personally deliver three two-hour one-to-one face-to-face coaching sessions. It is during these sessions that you will receive training, coaching and skills development that will have instant results and gradually increase your mental toughness. Progress from the start of the programme and between each coaching session will be measured and reviewed.


Key tasks 

  • Three one-to-one, face-to-face two-hour coaching sessions per participant
  • Application of appropriate coaching and development tools tailored to each person's personal development requirements
  • Measuring progress between each session

Stage 3

Individual feedback 

Judith will personally prepare your feedback based on the results and reports from the MTQ48. You will have a one-to-one face-to-face feedback session of up to two hours with Judith, who will build a personalised development plan designed to enhance your mental toughness. A mental toughness workbook is also provided during this session.

  • Up to two hours of face-to-face feedback
  • Review of:
    • the online mental toughness questionnaire, MTQ48
    • The personal questionnaire
  • Creation of a personalised development programme
  • Preparation of mental toughness workbook

Stage 2

Individual preparation 

You will complete an online mental toughness questionnaire MTQ48, powered by AQR, which takes only eight minutes to complete and automatically creates initial reports and assessment of mental toughness.

    • The personal questionnaire

Pre-programme preparation 

Our first step is to fully understand your personal objectives, context and what it is that you require from a mental toughness solution. By understanding what drives you, we ensure that the mental toughness programme links to your personal goals, aspirations and objectives throughout the process.
